Known for fun filled nights, we also have a world-renowned reputation for fantastic food, Mardi Gras, and Jazz and French Quarter Fests. 1822 Bougainvillea House units are as unique as the city and will fulfill your expectations. Description: The "Riverboat Suite" is located on the 2nd floor of the slave quarter building and was recently renovated. Original to this 1822 property, this suite faces the courtyard and patio with French doors opening on to the balcony. It is beautifully restored and features hardwood floors with oriental carpets. The bedroom is furnished with elegant antique furniture, a queen bed is adjacent to the lovely modern tile bath. Fold out sofa transforms living room into second bedroom. The Riverboat is a romantic unit with old world charm for those who want the true French Quarter intimacy. This unit includes automobile parking in the courtyard for average size cars. The "Paddlewheeler" is a modern unit with king size bed located just off the tropical patio on the first floor with faux marble floors and large tile bath. A sleigh style daybed transforms the living room into a second bedroom. This unit adjacent to the Bonsai garden is a frequently requested unit for honeymooners and offers parking adjacent to the patio for average size cars in the courtyard.
