Cleaning Service, Supplies, Laundry:
The unit is fully cleaned before your arrival. Beds will be made with clean linens and towels, soap, toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap and easy-light logs for the woodstove are provided. If you want additional maid service or fresh linens during your stay there will be an additional charge. There are coin operated washers and dryers in the basement of the building.

Location:
We're located in the Gold Camp condos on Ski Hill Road about 1/4 mile from the Peak 8 base area and about 1 mile from downtown. A free shuttle goes by the condo complex about every 15 minutes in the winter to the ski slopes. It's about a two minute ride to the slopes. The buses also go to town, winter and summer, though not as frequently in the summer. We're about a two block walk from the Four O'Clock Run, where you can get off the slopes and walk home. For getting to the slopes you can ski down Four O'Clock and take the Snowflake lift back up, but it's quicker to take the bus to the slopes. A new wide lighted sidewalk was just added for the entire distance to town and it's a nice walk. As you go down Ski Hill road there's a beautiful view looking down on the town. In the summer a quickt way to walk to town is to go down the 4 o'clock run.

Building and Interior:
Our unit is on the third floor so there's no noise from above and it has a cathedral ceiling and high windows which give really nice light, but there is not an elevator. The cathedral ceiling gives the unit a spacious feel and it is much lighter than the lower units. The kitchen window is sunny all day and looks out at the mountains. The sliding glass door in the living room opens to a deck with an electric grill and looks out to trees and houses up the hill toward the ski slope. We're a block off the main road and set back enough from the side road that there's not much traffic noise. In general, the area is pretty quiet. Although Gold Camp has older buildings (built about 1969) we've re-painted the whole unit, replaced appliances and have interesting paintings and wall hangings. The location is ideal and our tenants have universally loved it, but this is not one of the new luxury condo complexes.

We don't usually book 2-4 night rentals over weekends until close to occupancy date, since we try to have weekends available for longer rentals.

REFUND POLICY:
>60 days - full refund less $50 fee;
30 - 60 days - 50% refund;
0-30 days - No refund.

FINAL RENTAL CONFIRMATION:
We are a private family renting our personal condo and like to have a phone conversation with each renter before confirming your reservation. When you are ready to confirm a reservation, please call us at one of the numbers listed at the bottom of this message, or email your phone number to us and we'll contact you. Please include time zone and times to reach you.

PAYMENT AND DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
We accept Mastercard and Visa.
We require that half payment be made at the time you make the reservation and the remainder 4 weeks before arrival. Sales tax of 10.55% is added to the total. We ask that you send a check for $150 which we hold as a damage deposit. It is voided within 30 days after your departure with the uderstanding that it is to be left in the condition you found it other than needing ordinary cleaning service.

PAPERWORK:
When you book, we'll fax or email you a contract to sign and return confirming services & supplies we provide, dates, price, and check-in and check-out times (4pm and 10am). It will show amount due immediately to hold your reservation, remaining amount due, and the date final payment is due. After you make the final payment, we'll send you a map with exact directions, unit number, unit phone number, and code to the lock box for entry.
