 Located in north-central Indiana, 245-acre Bruce Lake is known for blue gill fishing, quiet pontoon rides and amazing sunsets. It straddles the Pulaski and Fulton line just north of state Route 14, and is located about nine miles east of Winamac, 13 miles west of Rochester, and 14 miles south of Culver Military Academy. Notre Dame University is located only 45 miles north. There is a Pete Dye golf course just 10 minutes away.

Sunset Cottage sits in a perfect location in the southeast corner of the lake, drinking in the summer evening sunsets as guests enjoy the spectacular view. Open all year, Sunset Cottage is the ideal getaway retreat for fishermen, small families, or married couples who need some time away.

Sunset Cottage is a 840 sq. ft. home on Lake Bruce, Kewanna, Indiana. There is a full kitchen, living room, sitting room, bedroom, bathroom with tub/shower, and sun room/dininig room. A large deck includes a glasstop table with 6 chairs. The shed has a pop fridge and stores lawn chairs, fishing poles, gas grill. There is a campfire pit with wood provided. The pier has a swimming ladder and you can dock a rental boat (rented nearby) or your fishing boat there. A paddleboat is provided.

In the middle of the lake is a spring fed sandbar area where you can hook up your boat to some buoys and swim at what everyone calls "the swimming hole". Public access to lake is around the corner and there is a bait shop/small store on the west side of the lake. Grocery store, restaurants and shopping are conveniently located in nearby Rochester or Winamac. Lake Bruce does not allow skiing, jetskis, or speedboats. The neighborhood is very quiet and the people are friendly. This lovely setting is our home away from home and our haven. :)

SLEEPS: 5; Bedroom sleeps 2 in double bed; Sitting room sleeps one in pull out single bed; Living sleeps 2 on Futon.
KITCHEN: Full kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, all appliances, pots and pans, cleaning supplies. Bring your own food!
AIR CONDITIONING: Window unit in sitting room which cools the whole house.
TV: TV with cable. Built in VCR. DVD. Bring your videos and your X-Box, Nintendo, etc. Some videos provided.
PHONE: Sorry, please bring your cell phone.
LINENS: Yes, but you can also bring your own if you like.
TOWELS: Yes. Ditto.
LAUNDRY: Wonder Wash/Line Dry
OTHER: Gas grill, hammock, lawn chairs, fishing poles, firewood, small radio w/cassette, iron, ironing board, hair dryer.
BOATS: Bring your own fishing boat or pontoon. We have a paddle boat and a canoe. Dock on our pier. Rent pontoons nearby.

RULES: Gotta have 'em! NO SMOKING!! No Pets (We adore pets...have many at home, but not here!) No Parties. No Alcohol. This is a Christian family home and we ask that you respect our requests. No unmarried couples. Please leave cottage in condition in which you arrived. (In other words, please clean before you leave!) We will do a final cleaning of linens and get ready for next renters.

Check-In Time: Sunday 7:00 p.m. EDT (for weekday 3 nite  stays check-in at 4:00 p.m. EDT)
Check-Out Time: Saturday 11:00 a.m. (for weekday 3 nite stays 11:00 a.m.)
Minimum 6 or 3 night stay. 6 nights for $595. 3 nights for $360.
